They reduce human involvement in household tasks, increase productivity at work, eliminate waiting times for certain services, and reduce risks in medical interventions. Their key attributes are accuracy, time savings, and full availability.

The use of robots, especially in industry, allows for more efficient production by reducing material waste, lowering costs, improving product quality, eliminating errors, consistently working with precision, and generally requiring no downtime. In this sense, the advantages compared to human labor are clear.

Some experts warn that the proliferation of robots in our lives could have negative effects. The most notable concerns involve replacing humans in various jobs, which could lead to major disruptions and mass layoffs in the coming years.
